You guys are in luck! I have family that owns a Haitian resturant in Essex County don't know how far that is from ya'll. I put my life on it that you'll love the food. My aunt lived in haiti most her life and moved here to open a resturant, so your getting authentic Haitian food. Not no american/haitian crap that's been popin up lately...
I'm having the same problem since I moved to Tampa, FL there isn't one Haitian bakery nor resturant around here, so I substitute with hispanic resturants...but it's not the same...I pray to meet a haitian woman sometime soon before I leave this earth ;o(
Leave me a message and I'll send you the info for that resturant in Elizabeth, NJ if ya'll want...trust me it's worth the drive! O' the resturant is called " T'-Maan's "
